Guest Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions of stay at Sunset Island Resort. These are for your comfort and safety and the comfort of your fellow guests.

• When booking please indicate total number of guests and whether your requirements are for a double or twin (twin configuration is using sofabed).
  
  
• All rates are based on 2 guests in a one bedroom apartment and 4 guests in a two bedroom apartment (including penthouse). Extra person charges are $30 per person per night - payable on arrival. Cot hire available - charges apply.
  
  
• Check in is from 2 pm, and check out is before 10 am.  An early check in or late check out may be possible depending on availability on the day.
  
  
• If you are arriving on the day you booked, please contact reception to ensure that your booking has been received.
  
  
• Credit card details will be required on check-in for apartment security - or a cash deposit $200.
  
  
• We can't guarantee specific apartment requests prior to check in, but we try our best to fulfill them.
  
  
• Office hours 9am - 5pm weekdays, 9am - 12pm weekends.
  
  
• Late check in - dial 9 on the handset at entrance and our night service will answer and advise.

• Cancellation 28 days or more prior to the planned arrival date - there will be a full refund less $50 administration fee.
  
  
• Cancellation within 28 days prior to the planned arrival date - the deposit of 2 nights accommodation will be non-refundable.
  
  
• Cancellation within 7 days of the planned arrival date, or non-arrival, or reduction in number of nights booked - liability for full payment.

• All Schoolies guests are required to pay a cash bond of $200 per person on Checkin which will be returned on satisfactory condition of the apartment and settlement of any room charges on departure. 
  
  
• All appropriate documentation must be provided and completed at Checkin. Guests under 18 require written parental approval.

• Fax available at reception. If using dial-up computer access from your apartment, please use a free call or local dial-up number to reduce phone charges.
